July, 2010

Since acquiring his MBA in 1985 at the University of Denver, Robert Hendrickson has designed and developed tools for many industries—including banks, hospitals, clinics, business machine service centers, cell-phone providers, medical clinics, salvage yards, and more.

He has worked with many groups of users in a variety of client/server environments. His tools have always been relational databases.

He can help you assemble or enhance tools for any of the following uses:

  • Traditional Point-of-Sale.
  • A patient-data environment, which meets HIPAA standards. Will support routine or custom patient-monitoring or research.
  • Inventory control.
  • Marketing analysis.
  • Custom financials.
  • Questionnaires.

He can also design::

  • Input tools to safeguard and expedite data collection.
  • Data transfer tools to coordinate safe and secure sharing of related data.
  • Repository tools to keep track of samples and experiments.
  • OLAP (OnLine Analytical Processing) tools to retrieve data from multiple sources (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2) for analysis and research.
  • OCR (Optical Character Reader) tools allowing a user to collect information on special forms (e.g., TELEform), then scan the data into a central database.

All of Robert’s environments have been fully secured and support multiple security levels. His preferred RDB is either MS Access or SQL Server. He often embeds complex SQL statements in Visual Basic to enhance and safeguard processing.

Robert is an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University and Skyline College. He is also a board member of the Epilepsy Foundation, Northern California.
